North Dublin Juniors in Malta 2018

The club currently has a number of Junior teams (Boys and Girls) that range from the ages of 8 - 18. It is a primary goal of the club to develop Junior teams and get young people interested in the sport of water polo. The junior teams cater for all standards, whether you can swim or whether you've played water polo before do not matter. Remember everyone has to start somewhere!

The club has a number of highly experienced coaches that look after the Junior setup and with the Juniors partaking in a number of different leagues over a number of ages groups, there is plenty of game time for everyone. The club have produced some of the best Junior teams in the country in the past with many of the clubs Junior players representing their country at Junior level. The clubs current Senior Team is made up almost entirely of players who came up through the clubs Junior setup.

The Club runs a training session in the National Aquatic Centre every Monday evening between 21:00 and 22:00. This session is shared with the clubs Senior Team. This gives the Juniors a chance to train with and learn from some of the top players in the country. The pool also has a viewing gallery where parents can relax and watch the progress that their children are making in the sport.

As of the 3rd of September 2013 the Club is starting up a Juniors Academy in Trinity Sports and Leisure in Donaghmede. This session is to be used to further develop Junior water polo within the club and also within the country.

Monthly Bank Duty Roster

This is a swim Ireland directive and a duty the club will be taking very seriously.
When your child is nominated for bank duty the parent of that child must introduce themselves to the coach prior to the start of the session as the person on duty. The parent can sit in the viewing areas but must be within view of the coach and be available if needed.
If you are not available for bank duty when rostered it is the responsibility of the parent on duty to arrange a swap with another parent.
Continuous failure to show up for bank duty may result in a sanction.
